TABIIB is committed to Your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the collection, use, storage, processing, disclosure and transfer of Your Information (defined below) when You use the Website and/or the Services.

1. Why this privacy policy?

This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with, Law No. 35 of 2012 under the purview of Constitution of Bahrain 2002, with respect to Consumer Protection (the ‘Consumer Protection Law’) that protects consumer privacy, to maintain personal information and not to exploit it for other purposes.

i. The type of information collected from the Users, including Personal Information (as defined in paragraph 2 below) and Sensitive Personal Data or Information (as defined in paragraph 2 below) relating to an individual;

ii. The purpose, means and modes of collection, usage, processing, retention and destruction of such information; and

iii. How and to whom TABIIB will disclose such information.

2. Information we collect

The kinds of information that We collect about You include Personal Information and Non-Personal Information. Personal Information and Non-Personal Information are collectively referred to as "Information". Some of the Services require us to learn more about you so that we can best meet your needs. When you access the Services, we may ask you to voluntarily provide us with certain information that personally identifies you or could be used to personally identify you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information includes (but is not limited to) the following categories of information:

i. contact data (such as your email address and phone number);

   ● User verification and sending OTP codes

   ● Sharing updates through SMS regarding appointments, cancellations, alerts etc

We enable the user to upload his picture to be better identified by the doctors

We ask for user’s approximate location so that we can find you better healthcare services and offers near your location

ii. demographic data (such as your gender, your date of birth and your pin code);

iii. data regarding your usage of the services and history of the appointments made by or with you through the use of Services;

iv. medical data (such as doctors, dentists or other healthcare specialists, professionals, providers, or organizations (collectively, “Healthcare Providers”) you have visited, your reasons for visit, your dates of visit, your medical history, and other medical and health information you choose to share with us);

v. other information that you voluntarily choose to provide to us (such as information shared by you with us through emails or letters). We may also collect information other than Personal Information from You through the Website when You visit and/or use the App/Website. Such information may be stored in server logs. Such Non-Personal Information would not assist us to identify You personally. Such Non-Personal Information may include:

(i) Your usage details such as time, frequency, duration and pattern of use, features used and the amount of storage used;

(ii) Master and transaction data and other data stored in Your user account;

(iii) Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, referring URL, files accessed, errors generated, time zone, operating system and other visitor details collected in Our log files.

How we collect information

We collect information (including Personal Information and Traffic Data) when you use and interact with the Services. Such means of collection include:

(i) When you use the Services’ interactive tools and services, such as searching for Healthcare Providers and searching for available appointments with Healthcare Providers;

(ii) When you voluntarily provide information in free-form text boxes through the Services;

(iii) If you download and install certain applications and software we make available, we may receive and collect information transmitted from your computing device for the purpose of providing you the relevant Services, such as information regarding when you are logged on and available to receive updates or alert notices;

(v) Through cookies, web beacons, website analytics services and other tracking technology (collectively, “Tracking Tools”), as described below, and;

(vi) When you use the “Contact Us” function on the Site, send us an email or otherwise contact us.

Use of Collected Information

We collect Your Information for various purposes, including the following:

(i) In order to enable You to use the Website and utilize the Services. For instance, You may provide Your health related information on the Website in order to consult privately with a Healthcare Providers;

(ii) to respond to Your inquiries;

(iii) to provide You with information about services available on the Website;

(iv) to personalize Your experience on the Website;

(v) to help You address Your problems incurred on the Website including addressing any technical problems;

(vi) for proper administering of the Website;

(vii) to conduct internal reviews and data analysis for the Website (e.g. to determine the number of visitors to specific pages within the Website);

Storage and Security of Information

We store and process your information on our servers in Bahrain and other GCC countries. We maintain industry standard backup and archival systems. Although we make good faith efforts to store Personal Information in a secure operating environment that is not open to the public, we do not and cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information. If at any time during or after our relationship we believe that the security of your Personal Information may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you of that development. If a notification is appropriate, we will endeavor to notify you as promptly as possible under the circumstances.
